︎ About Welab BankWelab Bank is a recently launched virtual bank in Hong Kong, which aims to leverage the power of fintech and people to create a new world of virtual banking. Their goal is to establish a locally developed fintech platform accessible to all citizens in Hong Kong.

The goal of the digital campaign is to encourage people to open an account and try the 'GoSave' Time deposit. To encourage engagement, users can collect 18 characters representing Hong Kong's 18 districts, with each character granting a chance to enter a lucky draw. Users can collect more characters by logging in every day and completing additional tasks within the game, such as referring friends to open an account or answering quizzes.

︎ Characters Development
The characters are inspired by the most recognizable symbols of the 18 districts in Hong Kong, such as a businessman representing Central, an elderly woman with Sweet Heart Cake for Yuen Long, and a young girl with buns for Cheung Chau. We created sketches of the characters and shared them with the artist, who transformed them into 3D. Once we finalized the design direction for all 18 characters, we worked with a local 3D artist, Tony Electronic, to bring them to life.
